How do I create an invoice?

Creating an invoice is simple:

  1. Go to the Home page
  2. Fill in your business information in the "Invoice From" section
  3. Add client details in the "Bill To" section
  4. Add items or services with descriptions, quantities, and rates
  5. Select payment method and add any notes
  6. Click "Create Invoice PDF" to generate and download

What file formats are supported for logo upload?

We support the following image formats for your business logo:

  • JPG/JPEG files
  • PNG files
  • SVG files

Maximum file size is 50MB. For best results, we recommend using PNG or SVG formats.

How do I add multiple items to my invoice?

To add multiple items:

  1. Fill in the first item's details (description, quantity, rate)
  2. Click the "Add Item" button below the items list
  3. A new row will appear for the next item
  4. Repeat as needed for all your items
  5. Use the trash icon to remove any unwanted items

How are totals calculated?

Invoice totals are calculated automatically:

  • Subtotal: Sum of all item amounts (quantity × rate - discount)
  • Discount: Total discount applied across all items
  • Tax: Tax percentage applied to the subtotal
  • Shipping: Additional shipping charges
  • Final Total: Subtotal + Tax + Shipping

Can I apply discounts to individual items?

Yes! You can apply discounts in two ways:

  • Percentage discount: Enter a percentage (e.g., 10 for 10% off)
  • Fixed amount discount: Enter a fixed amount in the selected currency

Use the dropdown next to the discount field to choose between percentage (%) and fixed amount (₹).

Which currencies are supported?

We support over 50 international currencies including:

  • Major currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, INR, JPY, CAD, AUD
  • Asian currencies: CNY, SGD, HKD, KRW, THB, PHP, IDR, MYR
  • Middle Eastern: SAR, AED, QAR, KWD, BHD, OMR
  • European: CHF, SEK, NOK, DKK, PLN, CZK, HUF
  • And many more regional currencies

What payment methods can I include?

You can specify various payment methods:

  • Bank Transfer: Include bank details, account number, routing/IFSC code
  • PayPal: Specify your PayPal email address
  • UPI: Add your UPI ID for digital payments
  • Payment Link: Include a custom payment URL
  • Cash: For in-person cash payments

Can I save my invoice data?

Currently, our tool generates PDF invoices for download. Your data is not stored on our servers for privacy reasons. We recommend:

  • Saving the generated PDF to your device
  • Keeping a copy of the invoice for your records
  • Using the preview feature before generating the final PDF

Is my data secure?

Yes, we take data security seriously:

  • All invoice data is processed locally in your browser
  • No sensitive business information is stored on our servers
  • Logo uploads are handled securely and can be deleted
  • PDF generation happens client-side for maximum privacy
